Kindergarten & Primary School
Danielle holds a BA in Psychology and Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education) from the University of Otago. She has taught early years in New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan. Outside the classroom, Danielle enjoys reading, snowboarding and ice skating.
Charlotte holds a BA in Primary Education and Early Years Professional Status from the University of Brighton. She has taught early years and kindergarten for over 20 years in the UK, Australia, Qatar, and UAE. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys reading, exercise, and travel.
Emily earned her BA in Early Years & Childhood Studies from University College Cork. Prior to joining us at TH, Emily taught pre-school at an orphanage in Tanzania and early years in the United Arab Emirates. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, swimming, and cooking.
Danielle earned her BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida, MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University, and Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of West Florida. She has taught in the USA, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore and China. Danielle specializes in Primary Education K-6, Literacy and ESL. Outside school, she is an avid scuba diver and enjoys going to the cinema.
Jennie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of York and her PGCE in ICT from the University of Leicester. She has taught kindergarten and primary for over 16 years in schools in the UK and the UAE. Outside the classroom, Jennie enjoys trial bike riding, playing descant recorder, and attending music festivals.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Education from James Madison University and an M.Ed. in Hearing Impaired Education from Gallaudet University. She has taught kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grade, 6th grade math, and deaf education (ages 4-12) for over 20 years in the US, Saudi Arabia, and Myanmar. Outside the classroom, Barbara enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, snorkeling, and spending time at the beach.
Jill holds a B.Ed. in Early Childhood from James Cook University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Child Protection Practice. She has served as Pastoral Care Coordinator at St Andrews Catholic College in Queensland, Australia and taught students from Foundation to Year 6 for over 12 years in Australia, England, and the Falkland Islands. Outside school, Jill enjoys cooking, gardening, and travelling.
Michelle holds a BA in Photography from Nottingham Trent University, an MA in Photographic Studies from Derby University, and a PGCE for Primary Education from Sheffield Hallam University. She has taught for over 15 years in the UK and Vietnam and trained in leading the International Primary Curriculum. Outside the classroom, Michelle is passionate about road cycling, and she has cycled the Mekong Delta.
Nic holds a BA in Sports Science from Chester College and a PGCE in Primary Education from La Sainte Union, University of Southampton. A qualified TESOL teacher, Nic is an experienced IPC practitioner who taught at one of the first schools to launch the curriculum in 2000. He has taught for over 22 years in Brunei, Nigeria, Thailand, and Malaysia. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, running, and swimming.
Robbie earned his BA in Art, Design & Technology from the University of Wales and has taught for over 19 years in Wales, England, Malaysia, and Taiwan. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in England and Taiwan, with commissions in Borneo and Kuala Lumpur. Outside of school, Robbie is a certified Yachtmaster in sailing, a dive master, lead climber, and triathlete.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Development & Coaching from Sheffield Hallam University and trained as a teacher at the University of Bedfordshire. Before joining TH School, Steven served for 10 years as Head of PE at Wilds Lodge School. Steve is passionate about sports and outdoor activities, including swimming, football and rugby.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Salem State University and teaching licenses in ESL for PreK-grade 12 and History for grades 5-12 from the state of Massachusetts. Ryan joins TH having taught English to students in grades 3-5 in China. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Elementary Education at Merrimack College and enjoys reading, painting, and traveling in his free time.
English & EAL
Sandie holds a BA in English from Teeside University and a Masters of Teaching from the University of Sydney. Specializing in ESL and boarding management, she has taught English and ESL in Australia and is a member of the Australian Boarding Schools Association. Outside the classroom, she enjoys travelling, visiting historic places, and renovating old houses.
Daryl holds a BA in Social Ethics and PGCE from the University of Lancaster and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Materials Development from Anglia Ruskin University. She has taught for over 12 years in the UK, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam.
Steven holds a BA in Psychology from Arizona State University, an MA in Special Education from Western Michigan University, Masters of Educational Technology from Jones International University, and K-12 teaching license in special education from the state of Nevada. He has taught for over 15 years in the United States, China, Thailand and Vietnam.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from Keele University. She has taught secondary mathematics for over 16 years in the UK and Vietnam, six of which she served as Head of Mathematics. In her free time, Jane enjoys baking, sewing, and travelling.
Dominic holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and PGCE from the University of Edinburgh. He has taught for over 13 years and joins TH School as a secondary maths teacher. He has taught in Singapore, the Philippines, Oman and the UK and enjoys cycling, running, skiing, football and rugby.
Piers holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Hatfield Polytechnic and Postgraduate Certificate in Education specializing in secondary mathematics from the University of Sussex. He has taught in the UK for over 29 years across a range of subjects including mathematics, computing, ICT, citizenship, and memory techniques. In his free time, Piers enjoys reading, exercise, discussing music, and classic cinema.
Nguyễn Thị Hoa
Hoa holds a Bachelor of Philology from Hanoi National University and is completing her Masters in Science of Philology, specializing in Russian and Eastern European literature. In her free time, Hoa enjoys reading, listening to music, and gardening.
Trịnh Thị Quỳnh
Quỳnh holds a Bachelor of Philology and a Masters in Foreign Language from Hanoi National University of Education. She has taught secondary literature in international bilingual schools. Outside the classroom, Quỳnh enjoys reading and learning about history and culture.
Nguyễn Văn Vương
Vương holds a Bachelors in History from Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE) and has been awarded for his scientific research and pedagogical profession from HNEU. He teaches secondary history with a focus on developing students' critical thinking skills and preparing them for a global future.
History & PE
Dave holds a BA in Social Science from Nottingham Trent University and a PGCE in Citizenship & Humanities from the University of Leicester. For over 12 years, he has taught a range of subjects including history, geography, religious education, sociology, and PE to students in Cambodia, the UK, and the Philippines. Outside the classroom, Dave is a keen musician, guitarist and vocalist. He is a qualified personal trainer and enjoys sports.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Education in Humanities from Australian Catholic University. She has taught a wide range of subjects for over 26 years, including geography, economics, history, and social studies, to students in Australia, Thailand, the UAE, Switzerland, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. Outside the classroom, Angela enjoys reading, exercising, and going to the cinema.
Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Business Management from the University of Bolton and a PGCE in Secondary Education from Liverpool John Moores University. He has taught grades 6 to 12 for over 11 years in schools in Jordan, Romania, Qatar, Ukraine, and the UK. In his free time, Gordon enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and going to the cinema.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Western Ontario and a PGDE specializing in Biology and Chemistry from Wollongong University in New South Wales, Australia. She has taught secondary biology and chemistry for over 12 years in Japan, England, Canada, Egypt, Barbados, and Qatar. In her free time, Amanda enjoys travelling and scuba diving.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Education specializing in physics and mathematics from Nairobi University. He has taught physics and maths for over 17 years in Kenya, China, and Vietnam. In his free time, Thomas enjoys reading, walking, hiking, and being outdoors.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Chemistry from the University of Bradford, a PGCE from the University of Leeds, and a Master of Science from State University of New York. In addition to serving as an administrator for 14 years, he has taught chemistry and physics for over 26 years in the UK, Spain, Peru, Brunei, the UAE, and Oman. In his free time, Tony enjoys gardening and following rugby and cricket.
John holds a BA in Fine & Applied Arts from the University of Ulster and a PGCE in Art & Design Education from Goldsmiths, University of London. He has taught art in South Korea and Kazakhstan. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across Ireland, and his work has been featured in various publications, including The Ulster Star, Irish News, and Ireland’s Home Interiors & Living.
Christina holds a BA in Music Education from Shepherd University and K-12 instrumental and vocal teaching certification from the state of Virginia. She has taught music in the US and UAE, led student performances in New York City and Dubai, and served on the Board of Directors for Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. In her free time, Christina enjoys hiking and snowboarding.
Richard holds a degree in Internet Technology and a PGCE specialising in ICT. He has taught IT and computing for over 13 years in the UK, the Cayman Islands and Vietnam. He has served as an internal verifier for business studies and creative media, as well as a school ICT coordinator. Outside of school, Richard is a keen cook, traveler and musician, having previously worked in the music industry.
