Primary Science Day
Science takes center stage for the day in KG and Primary
How can you safely hold fire in your hands? How can a sparkly powder turn into plastic? These are some of the questions raised at Primary Science Day, which was held for the Kindergarten and Primary School community Wednesday. Students witnessed interesting experiments on a range of topics, including pressure and metabolism. Grade 10 and 11 students volunteered to conduct experiments and explain the science behind them to the children.
Students from the Kindergarten and Primary School also took part in two competitions rooted in physics: the first to construct the furthest flying paper plane, and the second to construct a container and parachute to safely land an egg dropped from the top floor. A special thanks to everyone who made Primary Science Day a success and a wonderful opportunity for our kids to pique their curiosity and explore their world through science.
