Receptionist cum Customer Care Officer

 

Job purpose

  • To act as the first point of contact for guests
  • To provide customer service effectively and professionally

 

Areas of responsibility

1. Receptionist

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationary and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

2. Customer service

  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Record details of actions taken
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

3. Other tasks as assigned by the Marketing & Admissions Manager

 

Job specifications

Minimum academic/professional qualifications

  • Vietnamese citizen
  • Bachelor's degree

 

Related experience
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role in educational field
