Marketing Officer

 

Job purpose

To support the Marketing Manager in raising the visibility of the School by carrying out an effective marketing and communications plan in order to:

  • Attract new students to both campuses in Chùa Bộc (day school) and Hòa Lạc (boarding school)
  • Promote the profile of TH Schools as a whole to external audiences

 

Responsibilities

  • Website and other e-marketing communications
  • Collating material and editing copy for the monthly Newsletter circuited to internal and external audiences
  • Updating the School’s social media accounts
  • Updating information about the School on external websites and directories
  • Creating fresh and up-to-date web content to pass to the Web administrator and Web Designer as necessary
  • Providing ideas and input into the development of new e-marketing materials
  • Writing and producing marketing material (e.g. brochures, posters, flyers, etc.)
  • Preparing marketing collateral for the School’s corporate relations activities, working with the Marketing Manager
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager in compiling media plans
  • Managing the stock of all marketing collateral i.e. brochures and promotional gifts; creating systems to identify when stock needs to be replenished
  • Proactively searching out information for PR purposes and writing press releases
  • Liaise with and provide information to the media, and arranging interviews with members of staff when necessary
  • Maintaining a photo library and arranging external photo shoots and filming with placement students and alumni as well as in-house photo shoots with School staff and students
  • Assistance with proofreading, copywriting, editing copy and information collection
  • Assistance and coordination at the School's events for student recruitment and curricular activities and events

The post holder will, from time to time, be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as may reasonably be required by his/her line manager.

There may be occasions when the post holder’s role and skill set may be required elsewhere within the School, so flexibility will be essential.

 

Required Qualifications

  • BA degree in business, marketing and communications. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Big-picture, strategic thinker
  • Experience in leading internal and external communications
  • Substantial expertise with media outlets
  • Experience developing and leading effective social media campaigns and web presence optimization
  • Strong collaboration, persuasion, and consensus-building skills
  • Superior writing, editing, presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a deadline-sensitive environment
